Catherine Feechan - Director, Corporate Legal
Catherine is a corporate lawyer with over twenty years experience working with life science companies at all stages of the growth cycle, from start up to IPO. She finds that working with companies, helping them address the legal issues that they face, as they expand, is hugely rewarding. Aiding companies to make the right strategic choices to manage risk and allow them to maximise commercial returns means they can then attract investment and grow faster, creating more jobs and better returns for all their stakeholders.
Over the years, Catherine has worked with a number of life science companies including AorTech International plc, Mpathy Medical, Ocutec and Reminova Ltd and her work with Innova allows her to use her experience to help develop a new generation of life science companies here in Scotland. Catherine graduated from Glasgow University and qualified in both Scottish and English Law. She trained at Dickson Minto WS and was a partner at both Biggart Baillie and Brodies LLP before joining specialist corporate firm Kergan Stewart LLP in 2013.
When she is not working, Catherine enjoys yoga, cooking, walking the dog (so she can eat more of the cooking) and hanging out with her family.
